The design process
Our co-creative method of working is based on jointly designing the required architecture to enable your leaders to enact their aspired future. Our client projects always integrate leadership development with strategy conversations and vice-versa.
Our philosophy of developing programmes for our clients is first focus on co-designing with our client and then matching the best facilitators, faculty and practitioners across industry, academia, and arts to serve that design.
Creating integrated leadership and strategy designs
The different stages in our co-design process with our clients and relevant partners include:
Scoping and Assessment. The objective in this stage is to clearly define goals for the intervention and desired transformation. We have helped our clients to diagnose and further clarify their objectives and/or to engage in a process whereby we can fully understand and refine the pre-set objectives.
Programme Design. As transformation often is the main objective of each programme, the aim of this stage is to articulate the steps/sequence/approach that will be used to enable the desired “felt shift” your people, customers, and stakeholders will experience. Practically speaking, we co-create with our clients in design meetings the learning journey and anchor the objectives in the actual approach. During stage we leverage our transformation principles and our methods and tools.
Staging. The objective in this stage is to identify facilitators and faculty, prepare and practice specific sessions, leading to an integrated and seamless approach. We continuously work with and expand our alliance which includes academics, world-renowned authors, leading business executives and stage performers.
An approach we use to ensure seamless integration with our suppliers are practice development workshops, where we bring together our client’s internal facilitators (if this is the case) and those brought by ELP to rehearse the programme and how to work together to deliver the best experience for participants. Great programmes require more than a series of monologues or a series of sessions.
Delivery: Our aim in this stage is the delivery of the programme in line with the agreed objectives by the client team. Our concept of team is an integrated one. The teams we deploy at our clients consist of combinations of members of our internal client team (members of the client organization) our core team (ourselves), and our network members (members of our alliance). This means you can’t sit back and wait for us to present you’re the results, we put you to work!
Feedback. In this stage we hope to together assess the impact and adapt/integrate learning points in subsequent interventions while a program is on-going and when the program is wrapping up. Feedback can be done in various forms via feedback forms, diagnostic tools, interviews and/or meetings.
