Eric Koenen
Eric Koenen comes from a behavioural science, business background. Having taken up several positions at Philips Electronics and Price Waterhouse Coopers, he sat on the board of Cofely Suez (previously GTI nv) in the Netherlands for almost a decade. During that time he started and led an integrated change process. His strategy was to invite and connect all talents in the organization and focus them on a common goal.
In 2007 he decided to focus on supporting organizations in change processes and on authoring books on leadership and organizational change. In 2007 “De kunst van leiderschap in tijden van verandering” was published, a book that uses eighty works of art to describe different leadership dilemmas. In 2010 he wrote, together with prof. Dr. Christien Brinkgreve, “De winst van verschil – masculiene en feminiene waarden in organisaties”, presenting an innovative approach on the diversity question.
Eric says: “I am convinced of the importance of diversity in the development of organizations at the start of the 21st century. “There is no way to diversity, diversity is the way” is one of the starting points in “De winst van verschil”… This conviction made me one of the founders of The Diversity Company”.
